Decorative Brass And CopperTable Oil Lamp

A highly decorative table oil lamp which most likely dates from the turn of the 19th /20th century.

The lamp is in good condition and has a duplex (twin wick) burner with snuffer. "English Made" is engraved on the wick winder knobs.

The complete lamp comprises mainly of brass with a nice copper section towards the base. There is just the occasional tiny ding commensurate with age but nothing to draw or offend the eye.

The shade is new but a high quality hand made one and compliments it perfectly. It is an acid etched shade with an intricate design of flowers and leaves and quite up to Victorian standards..
